and guests. You’re welcome to the intellectual English contest “Brain – ring”.
Our aim is to show students’ knowledge not only of English but Literature and
Geography as well, to widen outlook and encourage students to speak. Now I’d
like to introduce our teams and jury to you…
I. Конкурс "Виберіть правдиві речення"
1. Travelling by plane is the
fastest. You can get to many cities only in a few hours. You can stop wherever
you like. During the trip you can sit comfortably in the armchair and read, eat
or sleep. During the trip you need no tickets. Tourists visit many countries by
plane. You can see many places: monuments, museums.
2. Travelling by boat is the
fastest. It is the most interesting and pleasant. You can go down the river and
see many interesting places during your trip, new towns and villages. You can
stop wherever you like and swim in the river. During the trip you can sit
comfortably in the armchair and read, eat or sleep. You can see a lot of things
from the carriage window.
3. Travelling by car is
comfortable and interesting. It is also modern. It helps physical training. For
this way of travelling you need no tickets. You can go down the river. You can
stop wherever you like and see interesting places. You can get to many cities
only in a few hours. Travelling by car is popular for pleasure trips.
